About Alteration Avenue

Made to Rework, Wear Again

We remodel and alter garments with a focus on fit, reuse, and thoughtful design.

Alteration Avenue helps give well-made clothing a longer life through careful alterations, restyling, and upcycling. From fit updates to full redesigns, every project begins with a close look at the garment, its condition, and the result you want to achieve.

We work with everyday pieces, vintage finds, and sentimental garments that deserve a new chapter. Our process is clear from the first inquiry through collection, with written scope, design approval, and a fit check at the end.

What We Stand For

Values That Shape Every Project

Our work combines tailoring discipline with creative remodelling, always guided by the condition of the garment and the needs of the project.

01

Assessment First

We begin with a garment and material review so the project plan reflects the piece itself, not a generic template. That means the final scope is based on what the fabric and construction can support.

02

Clear Approval

Each redesign is approved before work continues, and any additional changes are discussed before they are made. The result is a process that stays transparent from concept to collection.

03

Thoughtful Reuse

We look for ways to reuse strong sections of the original garment whenever possible, especially for upcycling projects. This helps preserve character while reducing unnecessary waste.

04

Final Review

At collection, we complete a fit check or finish review so the garment can be checked before it leaves the workshop. That final step helps confirm the work matches the approved scope.

Our Story

A Studio Built Around Garment Renewal

Founded in Neuquén, the studio was built around practical tailoring, creative remodelling, and responsible use of materials.

Alteration Avenue began with a simple idea: clothing should not be discarded when it can be reimagined, repaired, or made to fit better. That approach shapes every consultation and project we take on.

We assess each garment before quoting, because fabric, construction, seam allowance, and wear all affect what can be achieved. This keeps the process realistic and helps set clear expectations before work begins.

Our work includes redesign consultations, dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects.
